Tiddly Cove Meeting, Wednesday April 20, 2016

Hi TCYC members and friends!

Our next club meeting is scheduled for April 20 at the Vancouver Maritime Museum. Meeting starts at 8:00 PM and refreshing beverages will be available from when doors open at 7:30 - all PM times!.

This month we are starting what may become a regular feature - a Story Jam! That's right - come prepared to tell your best sailing story. Something that went really well and left you looking like a hero or something that went very badly but you survived. You will have no more than 10 minutes and if you have pictures on a USB drive we can share them. Expert club judges will score your story and a winner for the night will be chosen. There will be a prize for the best story!!

If time permits we will also challenge you with a rules quiz - do you think you understand the Racing Rules of Sailing? I know that I think I do...

Also our esteemed Commodore, Harry Pratt, will be telling us about some upcoming interesting plans he has for even more fun events.
