With our small club it is critical that members look for opportunities to volunteer, whether helping out at the bar, phone committee, race committee or the Scramble we all need to contribute.

Our Fleet Captain's role is to organize the races, all racing skippers should expect to use their boats as race committee at least once per year.

Our new Commodore has issued a challenge to the Stamps Landing Yacht Club to participate in our New Years Day Race. The Commodore of the losing club will have to publicly wash the winning club's Commodore's boat.

Stepping down after exemplary service are; Roy Mitchell, John Bassingthwaite, Mary Brennan, MC Marciniak, Heather Wylie. Niko Lourotos did a great job as Scramble Chair in 2008 as well as maintaining the website and forum. Many thanks for your efforts, you made my term as Commodore a breeze.
