Victoria Day Weekend Cruising
What are you doing this long weekend?
Calling all Tiddlies and friends; we are planning an impromptu long weekend cruise in Howe Sound. With weather predicted to be sunny and hot it is time to load up the cruising gear and head out into the wild blue yonder. All boats and members are encouraged to come along.
Who's in so far?
SEA WEASEL, ZOE, DRIFTER, MEGSTAR, SARANDIS
Our group will be monitoring channel 68.

Friday
Head out from Vancouver around 2-5pm heading for Port Graves / Camp Artaban / East Bay, whatever you like to call it, on Gambier Island). We will anchour well into the bay away from the logging booms.
Saturday
Okay this is where things get fuzzy. We will spend at least the morning in Gambier and then either
stay another night
or sail over to Plumper Cove
with maybe a stop in West Bay
or go to Gibsons (at least two boats have already made reservations at Gibson's Marina).
(*) This would be the time to meet up with us in PG if you are heading out Saturday morning.
Sunday
Hang out in Plumper Cove and explore Keats Island; maybe a day trip to Gibsons; SARANDIS will be fishing of Peasley.
Monday: Head home.
What to bring?
This should be mostly self evident but if we will be anchouring so bear that in mind also a dinghy would be a good idea for getting ashore and going between boats. It is not totally vital however to have a dinghy as the group will have one and we can help each other out.
