Sailpast & Race
Hello TCYC Members.
Well, summer is almost upon us and the weather for this weekend is really shaping up to be great. As you all know Saturday May 9 is our Sailpast in honour of our esteemed Commodore Achilles Dolhaine. Member attendance is mandatory for the sailpast portion of the days events.
The Sailpast will commence at 11am sharp. Please be in the area of the Commodore's boat on time. It can take a while to get to Tiddly Cove from False Creek especially in a westerly and/or a flood tide. Tiddly Cove is located near Sandy Cove Park on the West Vancouver shoreline.
Sailpast Race: This years race should be much more interesting with a longer course and other changes designed to make the race more competitive so please see the Notice of Race and Sailing Instructions. I do want to remind everyone that if you plan on racing you may need to take your own elapsed time so please ensure you have a timer capable of that on board.

POST-RACE MEET-UP
Members are encouraged to raft up with the
Commodore’s boat at a location of the
Commodore’s choosing and enjoy the balance of the day. Should the weather not be cooperative the get together will take place at the Wicklow Pub, 610 Stamp’s Landing.
